This counts the total number of plays on the app in the last 7 days. The number of plays depends on the number of (unique) hits on the app. The more the app is shared, and is played by different users, the more likely it will make it to the front page. Only apps with thumbnails will be shown.
The number of plays on the app does not update in real time.
