2. How to Play: a short description of your submission and how it works.
The Bestest Super Mega Ultra Platformer 2.0 is a 2D pixel art style platformer game where you control two different characters. You can use the 'q' key to switch between them!

Controls:
During cutscenes/dialogues/monologues: Space to continue, and enter to skip
While playing: Press 'c' to show controls (Can't show the controls during the bossfight because it's too intense to pause)
For the bossfight: Jump on your opponent's head to deal damage, and dodge the projectiles.

3. Theme: How your submission relates to the Challenge theme.
Our submission relates to the Challenge theme because the two characters see the world a different way so I guess things wouldn't always be what they seem in that case. Also, there might or might not be a plot twist at the end. The only way to find out is to play the game or to read the spoiler (which is not recommended). The spoiler is at the very bottom of the description though if you really want to know.

4. Challenges: What hurdles did you encounter when creating your submission?
The biggest challenge we encountered when creating our submission was actually just coming up with a good game idea that fits the theme 'Things are not always what they seem'. Additionally, creating the large tilemaps was kind of annoying.

5. Highlights: What were the best parts of creating your submission?
Some highlights of our submission were that all of the assets we are using (images/sprites and sounds/music) are made by us. Besides, the physics system (controlling the player) is pretty good and juicy imo.

SPOILER: (which again might or might not reveal a plot twist)
At the end of the 'platformer' part of our game, the second character takes the 10 things which she claimed to be 'blue orbs' that were found and collected by the player during the parkour. However, they were mana orbs and she needed 10 of them to be able to transform back to her old form: An evil witch. And of course, the witch is evil so the main character would have to fight her which ended up just being the bossfight of the game.
