This game will remind people which items benefit the environment, and which ones don't. The items the panda collects will help save the world. How to Play: - Use the 'a' or 'd' keys to move forward or backward - Press 'space' or 'w' to jump - Collect items that help make the environment better to gain points! (tote bags, bikes, reusable cups/mugs) - Jump over items that have a negative impact on the environment. If you touch them, you lose points. (trash bags, cars, straws) - If you go past the timer, you restart the level. - remember to stay on the platforms, or you restart the level too! - make it to the end of the game to "save the world!" Challenges: One of the challenges I ran into was how to change my code so that the points the player earned throughout each level would stay the same. It wouldn't reset to 0 at the beginning of a new level. Creating walls was another challenge, but I was able to solve it with the help of the mentors. Highlights: I'm proud of my entire game because it was a great challenge. This is a big accomplishment for me because I'm new to PixelPad and just coding with python in general. If I had more time, I would add more animations because it would make the game seem more lively.
